Slave Chapel, Mansfield Plantation

Jennifer also popped in for a visit at our booth at Orem’s “Arts in the Park” and expressed interest in the image entitled, “Slave Chapel, Mansfield Plantation.” The rice plantation was established in 1718 on the banks of the Black River in Georgetown, South Carolina. This image was on display in the Springville Art Museum’s 25th annual “Spiritual and Religious Art of Utah” exhibit - where the image was displayed in a handfinished frame of my own making and may be seen in the galleries “Historical” and “Framed and Matted examples.” Thanks, Jennifer!
